Courses & Fees

LE Industry Services publishes a schedule of tuition fees for Government subsidies courses at Certificate IV and below which appear on LEIS scope of registration. See training.gov.au for RTO registration information.

Please note: Student tuition fees are subject to change given individual’s circumstances at enrolment. Additional text book fees may apply,this may occur when students ask for additional units to those on the existing course outline.

 

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

 Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is an assessment process that involves assessment of an individual’s relevant prior learning (including formal, informal and non-formal learning) to determine the credit outcomes of an individual application for credit.

 

LE Industry Services (LEIS) RPL process is designed to recognise current skills and knowledge as they are applied to relevant work situations in line with the particular competency. To obtain recognition the applicant must present evidence that is valid and verified as being an accurate representation of their workplace competency.

Concession Fees

 

Concession fees apply to Government subsidies courses only at Cert IV and below.

 

Students who are eligible for Government subsidies tuition and hold, or listed as dependents on, one of the following current concession cards, will be able to access concession (20% of published course fee) on the tuition part of their fees. Refer to schedule of fees.

 

Valid concession cards:

 

a)    Health Care Card issued by the Commonwealth

b)    Pensioner Concession Card; or

c)    Veteran’s Gold Card; or

d)    An alternative card or concession eligibility criterion approved by the Minister for the purpose of Departmental concessional fees guidelines.

 

 

 

Other charges

Purchase of additional text books may apply to some courses run by LEIS, upon enrolment these additional fees will be itemised in a statement to students.

 

Refunds

Government subsidies courses:

·      Course cancelled by LEIS – full refund

·      Withdrawal before starting date or within the first 4 weeks of the course – full refund, less $40 processing fee

·      After the first 4 weeks – no refund

·      If student taking a place at another training institute, a full refund will be granted – proof required

 Non-Government subsidies courses:

·           Course cancelled by LEIS – full refund

·           Withdrawal more than 7 working days prior to the commencement of the course – full refund

·           Withdrawal less than 7 working days prior to the commencement of the course – no refund

·           Withdrawal once the program has commenced – no refund

 

Please note:

All refunds are subject to the student having no outstanding financial commitments with LEIS
